What is Weightlifting?
Here at Nexus we are an official SAWLA Weightlifting Club (known as Nexus Weightlifting).
Weightlifting revolves around developing the strength and skill to proficiently perform the two Olympic Weightlifting lifts: the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk.
Weightlifters across Adelaide train in our gym everyday, we offer programs and competition day coaching. We host several Club Competitions throughout the year.

How do I join?
Sign up here to our base level Weightlifting Membership. We will provide a daily program to follow. You can train anytime, 7 Days a Week.
I want to test my lifts, what can I do?

The South Australian Weightlifting Association holds monthly Club Competitions. All athletes from beginners through to competitive athletes who wish to go further or test their lifts are welcomed. If you have done well, you can compete in the SAWLA State Competitions usually held in September. An elite performance will lead to Nationals and possible International selection.
